Assistant Branch Manager
General Responsibilities: In
the absence of Branch Manager, responsible for directly supervising the branch
staff, by directing and providing leadership; performing a variety of duties to
meet the business banking needs of business prospects and customers;
implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the branch as part of the
Community Banking Division’s annual operating plan; insuring the branch’s
compliance with security, operating policies and procedures and outside
regulatory requirements; ensuring timely and accurate audits are performed
according to Bank policies and procedures; organizing the work, activities and
human resources of the branch; directly supervising assigned personnel;
communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; performing
customer service duties and providing periodic reports.
Cash Management Product and Sales Manager
Cash Management Product and Sales Manager manages a staff of sales professionals and will provide strategic direction and sales &
product leadership to achieve cash management revenue goals for all four Tompkins affiliate banks located in Western NY, Central NY, the Hudson
Valley and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
will have to develop meaningful relationships with affiliate bank CEOs, Lenders and Branch Managers to generate sales opportunities and
participate in client meetings and presentations.
Specific cash management products offered by Tompkins including Commercial DDA, Commercial and municipal Internet Banking, Remote Deposit, Lockbox, ACH, Wire Transfer, Escrow Manager, Positive Pay, and Account Analysis.
Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of product profitability, bank operations, and competitor offerings in order to
provide leadership in product design, pricing structure and profitability of the product line.
General Responsibilities: Responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work, to include: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry; insuring that all mechanical equipment is functioning properly; performing minor repairs on office equipment.
Customer Service Representative
Wayne/Strafford Branch - 37 Hours per week
Responsible for working as an active member of the office sales/service team; completing the documentation and performing point-of-sale processing on all types of new deposit accounts; providing customers with direct service, as appropriate; taking advantage of selling and cross-selling opportunities; communicating with office manager on factors affecting the sales/service functions; providing required information on sales and service activities.
Responsibilities: Responsible for performing all of the duties assigned to a Teller involving the processing of numerous customer transactions; preparing and maintaining various clerical records, forms, and reports; working as an active member of the office sales/service team; completing the documentation and performing point-of-sale processing on all types of new deposit accounts; providing customers with direct service, as appropriate; taking advantage of selling and cross-selling opportunities; communicating with manager/supervisor on factors affecting the sales/service function; providing required information on sales and service activities.
